**Professor Lu Leng** is a Professor, PhD, and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Software, Nanchang Hangkong University, China. He is also the Director of the Computer Vision Research Institute and a member of the university’s Academic Committee. His research interests include biometric recognition and authentication, palmprint and palm-vein recognition, face recognition, biometric template protection, computer vision, and image processing.
Professor Leng has conducted postdoctoral research and academic visits at Yonsei University, South Korea, and West Virginia University, USA. He has led and completed multiple research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and other national, provincial, and industry–university programs. He has published more than 100 academic papers, including over 70 SCI-indexed journal articles, and holds several granted patents.
He has received numerous honors for his research contributions, including the Jiangxi Youth May Fourth Medal and recognition under the Jiangxi “Hundreds, Thousands and Ten Thousands of Talents Project.” He actively contributes to the international research community as a journal editorial board member and reviewer.
